Situation : Nowadays, the environmental impacts of new industries such as 3D printing should be assmall as possible to preserve Earth for generations to come.
Problem : Most of the 3D printing are made with virgin thermoplastic imported from china that have a terrible impact on the environment. Also only a small proportion of plastic waste are recycled and reused during ten to fifteen cycle as they should be. Reconditioning used plastic into useful objects is a big challenge of our time to reduce plastic pollution and overproduction.
OUR SOLUTION
Solution : Nefilatek’s solution is to use industrial plastic waste here in Quebec and recycle them into high quality 3D printing filament. We have already enough plastic here in Quebec to make 3D printing filament for almost all the actors in this industry.
Produce and Sell Locally
Our project was created here in Montreal in September 2018. Our goal was to produce and sell our products locally.
Our kickstarter campaign raise a lot of interest in Europe.
We we opened a production center in France near Lille in February 2020. We are now able to recycled and produce locally some high quality 3D printing filament for North-America
